The Village Building, originally a competition entry with the motto “ECOBOX 130x120x110” by a-g-e-s (2007 - 2. prize), is based on a theoretical work by Mathias Harang. It is subject of a PhD in progress by Britt Sørlie: The Village Building - a new typology in architecture as a possible sustainable planning strategy.
